How cell phone booster works
The cell phone communication has brought considerable convenience to our everyday life. We can make calls to our friends, family, and business partners while being away from home or office. Cell phone becomes especially helpful when people get into critical situations. In case of emergency a timely call can save somebody’s life.Unfortunately, there are still some places where one can find themselves “out of coverage”. Usually those places are either too far from the cell phone base station or located inside underground constructions, for example:
- Parking lots, tunnels
- Big stores, office buildings
- Cars, boats etc.
- House in remote areas
In order to keep the signal strong enough for comfortable usage of a cell phone the cell phone amplifier was designed. It is a special device to intensify the signal that comes from the base station to the phone and visa versa. In other words, it generates a “copy” of a signal and transmits it to the cell phone. The distance from the station to an amplifier should be less than 35 km.
A regular cell phone amplifier consists of
- 1 - Outdoor antenna (including standart cable)
- 2 - Indoor omni antenna
- 3 - 5 meters standart cable
- 4 - Power supply (DC 10v)
- 5 - User's manual
- 6 - Cell phone amplifier
•The outside antenna catches the low signal from the mobile base station and delivers it to the cell phone amplifier through the connection cable (coax).
•After the signal is accepted by the phone amplifier, the device amplifies it.
•Then this amplified signal goes through the connection cable (coax) to the inside antenna.
•And after that, the amplified signal transmits to the cell phone.
All our cell phone amplifiers work at full duplex: not only receive the low signal from the mobile base station then divert to mobile phone after amplifier. They also receive the signal from mobile phone then send to mobile base station after amplifier.
The installation of the cell phone repeater can be done manually, though some skills are required. Please, follow the manual to safely install the repeater.
The installed cell phone repeater lets you hold your conversations even in the areas that were considered unreachable for a signal before. More than that, as the cell phone gets a stronger signal, the level of its radiation gets lower, while the battery life gets longer.
The difference between booster is in its coverage and capacity.
Please, note that the coverage may differ depending on the building. The coverage can be expanded by installing a few amplifiers in different place of a building. Capacity influences the number of cell phones can be used simultaneously. The number varies from 5 to more than 100.
